If you've ever been to Liverpool you may know it as a great place to shop, a place that celebrates and produces great music and a city proud of its football and cultural heritage.
It’s the IDEAL location for a hen party with all of this and even more.
Anyway, Laura Bowery, our resident Liverpool gal has pulled together her favourite hen party ideas in the city of Liverpool.
Here are 5 Classy Liverpool Hen Party Ideas.
1. Boutique Rooms & Pool Party
For a great night in with one amazing difference book your own pool party inside a luxury Liverpool hotel. As well as stunningly unique group accommodation your party gets its own 25 foot mosaic bath right in the centre of your luxury party apartment.
With gorgeous boutique rooms decorated in pure glam, the Shankly Hotel is the perfect place for the ultimate Hen Party in Liverpool.
Where: The Shankly Hotel’s Signature Living Laurent Perrier Suite
2. A Trip Out On The Water
If your bride to be is a keen adventuress at heart then a day doing crazy water sports on the UK’s mist iconic river will totally float her boat.
Have fun trying to stay upright on paddle boards or jumping around like kids on the giant water trampolines. Your party can get wet and wild before heading for a similar night out on the town.
Where: Liverpool Water sports Centre, Mariners Wharf, Queens Dock
3. Live Music at Matthew Street / Cavern Quarter
You simply can't go to Liverpool without taking a visit to the Cavern Quater, the birthplace of The Beatles! You'll experience Liverpool's musical heritage with a range of pubs and bars (including The New Cavern Club - a dedicated gig venue where you'll find live music - a replica bar to the old Cavern Club which had seen bands such as The Beatles, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Cilla Black and more!)
If you don't like Rock n Roll or want to skip the many Irish pubs you'll find in this area, you still have plenty of options with late night partying for a cheesy night in Flares, Slug and Lettuce and Pop World.
This area is great for a Hen Party as you'll be spoilt for choice with different types of music, and there's also plenty of places to get a bite to eat! Just make sure to plan ahead if you do want to pay a visit to the Cavern Club as it does get extremely busy especially on weekends.
4. Escape Room to Break the Ice!
We can vouch for this recommendation because we've done it before on a hen do, and although we though it might be a risk (because it was a gorgeous day and we thought it mightn't have been the best choice!), it still ended up being a fun activity that everyone. enjoyed. A breakout room is the perfect way to throw everyone in a room together (well, in their teams!), and let them mingle while they solve the puzzle to escape. There are various levels so you can make it easy or difficult - and we can assure you that it will give your hens something to laugh and chat about before going out for some drinks.
The Breakout Rooms are perfectly located next to the Cavern Quarter, so you can continue on with your night and grab some food and drinks right after!
5. Have a Laugh at Dreamboys
As the bride to be has landed her dream boy that doesn’t mean she cannot enjoy a little window shopping. Especially on her last night as a single lady. For her eye candy and to maybe find your own dream boy get yourself to a Dreamboys show. Hen parties are particularly well catered for at Mansion. So on a Saturday night to kick of the fun book your girls into a show of non-stop muscle, music and mayhem.
A hen party can book for £30 per head which includes access to the show, a buffet dinner and a welcome cocktail at the bar for you and the girls.
Where; Mansion Nightclub, Temple Street
There it is ladies, choose one or choose them all and have a hen party that will be known as the stuff of legend amongst your peers.
Send your friend off into married life knowing that she made the best of her last single night in a city known for its good times, Liverpool.
Don’t forget to equip your hen party with some decent party games!
You’ll thank us later, drink sensibly ladies!
