3. Tea at the Royal Yacht Britannia
The Royal Yacht Britannia is one of the top tourist attractions in Edinburgh. Discover what it’s like on board the Queen’s floating royal residence! 5. Hike to Arthur’s Seat
If you want to do something more active, a climb up to Arthur’s Seat is not to be missed. This features in the One Day movie and is located at the highest point in Holyrood Park. Arthur’s Seat itself is a dormant volcano sitting 251m above sea level and gives incredible views of the city. Perfect to snap some fun hen party photos. It’s a moderate hike so won’t be a complete killer for those who don’t hike. The red path has been recommended. Ensure the bride is wearing a hen party sash for the adventure!
6. A Scottish Whisky Experience
If you have a group of whiskey drinkers or are interested in learning more about the booze, the scottish whiskey experience offer various tours, tastings and masterclasses. There is even the option of blending your own whiskey which sounds pretty cool.
7. A few hours at Camera Obscura World
What is this? Good question! It’s actually the oldest tourist attraction in Edinburgh (so they claim) and is An Aladdin’s cave filled with illusions, tricks, puzzles, hands-on experiences, unbelievable effects and the best rooftop views of the city. It sounds like the perfect place for some hungover hens to wander through! We won’t even try to explain it further. Take a look at their website and see if it’s right for your hen group.
8. Dinner at Baba

If you’re looking for a treat, The Ivy, Edinburgh is the place to be. Stylish interiors, a great menu and delicious cocktails. This is definitely a treat. It’s open all day so if you can’t get a dinner reservation, it will work for lunch or brunch also.
